On page 43 Neil Anderson asserts: “Many Christians are not living free and productive lives because they don’t understand who they are and why they are here.” How does this contrast with the world’s view of living a free and productive life and how can integrating this concept into each counseling session change how you work with your clients?
Understanding your position in Christ is key to victory in almost every counseling situation. Nothing can change that postion, while life often changes the secular view of self. It is not self worth but value in Christ that is important. We have worth because we are in Christ. Romans 8; Ephesians 1.
